Kate adored roses, which are beautifully showcased throughout this space, and she had a passion for planning fun outings to create cherished memories with her children. As the only ultra-luxurious, girls-only beauty boutique in town, Kate’s Place offers professionally guided, hands-on makeup party experiences, ideal for birthdays, girls’ gatherings, and adult team-building events.

Glam Birthday Party - Station Experience​ | $600

Recommended for girls ages 4-11

 

This party format is perfect for younger girls, offering a fun, age-appropriate glam experience that builds confidence while making their birthday celebration unforgettable! The experience features 3–4 glam activity stations where participants rotate through options like makeup application, nail painting, and 1–2 additional creative or glam activities tailored to the group’s interests. Parents are encouraged to stay and join the fun, wait in our lobby (ages 4-7), or drop off their child and enjoy some well-deserved ‘me’ time (ages 8-11)!

Party Duration: 1.5 – 2 hours total Guest Count: •Up to 12 guests maximum for a comfortable experience. •Additional Guests: $40 per guest over 12 guests. While space becomes tighter with more attendees, we understand occasional overages. This format is flexible and can accommodate additional guests when necessary. Party Team & Supplies: •Team: Includes 2 junior makeup artists to oversee and assist with activities. •Supplies Provided: All makeup, tools, mirrors, nail polishes, drying stations, and other essentials are included. Activity Stations: 1.Makeup Station Every guest receives age-appropriate makeup applied by one of our professional makeup artists: •Ages 4–8: Sparkly eyeshadow, blush, and lip gloss. •Ages 9–11: Eyeshadow, blush, lip gloss, mascara, brow mascara, and highlighter. Optional Stations: The girls will rotate through 2-4 fun, small-group stations with guided activities like makeup, nails, crafts, and more. Most parties include three stations, typically makeup and nails led by our two artists, with a parent or volunteer assisting at the craft station. If you'd like to add a fourth station, such as hair, an extra team member will be required, which we can arrange for an additional $100. 2.Nail Painting Station: Guests enjoy getting their nails painted with gel polish, dried using our LED stations for faster drying times. 3.Hair Styling Station: Guests’ hair is curled and styled for added glam and fun. 4.Activity or Craft Station Parents provide a glam-themed activity or craft to entertain the group. Examples include: Beading kits, coloring pages, paper dolls, DIY bracelet or necklace kits. We’re open to additional ideas and happy to collaborate to make your event special! Party Timeline: •Arrival Time: Party officially begins 10 minutes after the scheduled start to accommodate late arrivals. •Activity Time: 45 minutes to 1 hour rotating through stations. •Cake and Snacks: 20 minutes for celebratory treats. •Photos: 20 minutes of group and individual photos using our gorgeous, naturally lit, selfie wall at the main entrance, featuring a full-length ornate mirror and flower garland.

Glam Makeup Party - Hands-On Experience | $800

Recommended for girls ages 12-16

 

Perfect for teens, this hands-on makeup class teaches participants how to apply their own makeup with personalized guidance from our professional artists. This experience is also ideal for dancers and cheerleaders (of any age) who want to master applying their own performance-ready makeup and lashes, using their own tools and products.

Party Duration: 2 hours total Guest Count: •Up to 12 guests maximum for optimal comfort and experience. •Additional Guests: $60 per guest over 12 guests. Please note that due to the nature of a hands-on class, guests are positioned at individual makeup stations around a 14-foot-long table. Classes with more than 12 guests may feel tighter, and some guests may need to share mirrors or supplies. Party Team & Supplies: •Team: 2 makeup artists, including 1 instructor and 1 assistant. •Supplies Provided: Individual makeup stations for each guest, including all makeup, brushes, palettes, and mirrors. Hands-On Instruction: •Participants follow a step-by-step makeup tutorial under the supervision of professional artists. •The birthday girl typically serves as the model, receiving a full application. If the birthday girl prefers to participate, another guest can volunteer to model. •Alternatively, the teaching makeup artist may serve as the model, demonstrating techniques while instructing the class. Customization Options: •Themes or Topics: Tailored to your group’s interests, such as smokey eye, natural glam, or lash application. Perfect for group gatherings and celebrations, this hands-on makeup class is a fun, engaging experience for friends, teams, or colleagues.

Party Duration: 2.5 hours total Guest Count: •Up to 10 guests maximum for optimal adult comfort and hands-on instruction. •Additional Guests: $100 per guest over 10 guests. While the space becomes tighter with more than 10 participants, we understand this may occasionally occur and will do our best to accommodate. Party Team & Supplies: •Team: 1 Senior or Master Makeup Artist, supported by 1 Junior Artist for assistance. •Supplies Provided: Individual makeup stations for each guest, including all makeup, brushes, tools, palettes, and mirrors. Hands-On Instruction: •Participants apply their own makeup in a guided, step-by-step fashion under the supervision of professional artists. •Instruction is tailored to the chosen theme or topic, ensuring an engaging and personalized experience. This fun and engaging makeup class is perfect for group gatherings like a girls' night out, team-building events, or special celebrations. Participants enjoy a live tutorial led by a Senior or Master Artist, who demonstrates professional techniques on a class model. This class is observational, meaning participants do not apply their own makeup. Instead, they watch, learn, and interact through an engaging Q&A session.

Class Duration: 1.5 – 2 hours total Guest Count: •Up to 12 guests for an optimal experience. •Additional Guests: $60 per guest over 12 guests, with a maximum of 14 guests. Class Team & Supplies: •Team: 1 Senior or Master Makeup Artist and 1 Junior Artist for assistance. •Supplies Provided: Cheat sheets with tips and tricks for attendees to take home. Class Format: •This is an observational tutorial where participants watch and learn as the makeup artist demonstrates professional techniques on a class model. •The session is interactive, with time for Q&A to ensure attendees leave feeling confident in their new skills. Take the fun of our live makeup class to your chosen location! Perfect for group gatherings like a girls' night out, team-building events, or special celebrations, this off-site experience is hosted in the comfort of your home, office, or private venue.

Class Location: •Hosted at the off-site location of your choice (home, office, or other venue). Live Tutorial Format: •Observational instruction led by a Senior or Master Makeup Artist, featuring a live demonstration on a class-provided model. Interactive Q&A ensures an engaging experience for all. Custom Themes or Topics: •Tailored to your group's interests, such as smokey eye, natural glam, or other requested looks. Class Length: •1.5 – 2 hours total, ensuring ample time for learning and interaction. Guest Count and Space Requirements: •Determined by the host and venue size to ensure a comfortable experience for everyone. Hands-On Instruction: •While we typically do not offer hands-on instruction off-site due to the extensive equipment required for setup, we can accommodate special requests for groups who provide their own makeup and supplies (e.g., events at sorority houses or other private venues). If this option interests you, please contact us at ____ to discuss the details and requirements for your group. •Cheat sheets with tips and tricks are provided for attendees to take home. Optional Venue Rental | $500

If you'd like to make this a dual event for parents, we can transform the left side of our space into a chic lounge area with cocktail tables and high-top velvet chairs. You're welcome to bring appetizers, drinks, flowers, champagne, and more for a sophisticated adult gathering while the girls enjoy their makeup session. This includes exclusive use of the space and staff for two hours.

What’s Provided at Kate’s Place

  • Makeup Supplies: All makeup, tools, brushes, palettes, mirrors, disposables, and other essentials are provided.

  • Nail Supplies: Gel nail polish, supplies, and drying stations.

  • Cheat Sheets: Age-appropriate cheat sheets with tips and tricks to recreate the look, provided for teen and adult classes.

  • Welcome Sign: A chalkboard sign to welcome party guests and highlight the birthday girl’s name.

  • Venue Amenities:

    • Full use of Kate’s Place and kitchenette, which includes a full-sized refrigerator.

    • Important Note: We do not have a sink or ice maker, so guests should bring bagged ice if needed, or add our $25 Party Essentials Package.

    • Surround Sound and Music: Enjoy a party playlist curated by us, or feel free to connect your own music to our surround sound system!

  • Platter Plates and Displays: Serving platters and tiered food displays are available.

  • Photo Backdrop: Access to our gorgeous, naturally lit selfie wall at the main entrance, featuring a full-length ornate mirror and flower garland—the perfect spot for group and individual photos.

  • Cleanup Service: Leave the cleanup to us! Our team will handle all makeup, supplies, and party-related mess. Guests can simply enjoy the experience.

  • Waste Management: Garbage cans and garbage removal are included for your convenience.

  • Party Essentials Package: Many guests bring their own paper products and disposable utensils, including plates, napkins, and cups. To save you the hassle, we offer our Party Essentials Package for just $25. What Do I Need to Bring to My Party?

To make your event truly special, we recommend bringing the following:

 

Food & Beverages:

  • Light bites, cake, and bagged ice.

  • Most guests bring their own paper products and disposable utensils, including plates, napkins, and cups. To save you the hassle, we offer our Party Essentials Package for just $25. Let the Image By Lisa team take care of it all—we’ll provide plates, napkins, cups, utensils, and bagged ice, so you can focus on enjoying the celebration!

  • Wine, beer, and champagne are welcome for adult gatherings.

 

Optional additions:

  • Props: Add fun themed props (e.g., tiaras, feather boas, or costume accessories) for photo opportunities with younger or teen groups.

  • Centerpieces: Small, low-profile flower arrangements for the tables: 3–4 arrangements for the main makeup area and 1 arrangement for the kitchenette.

  • Goodie Bags: Party favors or goodie bags for guests, if desired.

  • Creative Activities for Younger Guests (Optional): For younger girls’ station parties, consider bringing a fun project such as: Beading kits, coloring books, paper doll crafts, DIY bracelet or necklace kits.

  • Costume: One of our team members can dress up in a costume (e.g., as a princess or other character) to add a whimsical touch to the event. Simply provide the costume, and we’ll bring the magic! Additional $50 charge applies.

  • Party Playlist: Set the mood with a curated music playlist! Simply provide your list to us, and we will play through our surround sound system.

  • Custom Invitations: Design and print beautiful themed invitations to match your event.

 

Deposits, Payments, and Gratuities

  • Date Reservation: A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be sent via invoice 2-3 days before the party for your convenience and can be paid in advance or at the end of the event. 

  • Final Payment: The remaining balance is due on the day of the event.

  • Gratuities: While optional, gratuities for our junior makeup artists are always appreciated! Tips can be given in cash or included in the final payment, and they will be evenly distributed among the artists.

 

Policies for Makeup Classes & Events

At Image By Lisa, we aim to provide every client with exceptional service and a memorable experience. To maintain fairness and accommodate all bookings efficiently, we ask for your understanding of the following policies.

 

Late Policy for Hosts and Guests

We understand that delays can happen, but due to the nature of our scheduling, punctuality is key to ensuring a smooth experience for everyone. Please note the following:

 

Party Stop Time

The party stop time is established when the host books the event. If the party starts late due to late arrivals, the stop time will remain unchanged to avoid impacting other scheduled events.

 

Late Arrival for the Host

  • If the host arrives late, it will result in a delayed start to the party. This can create a domino effect, impacting guests scheduled after your event.

  • Artists may need to shorten the party experience to accommodate other events and ensure fairness to all customers.

  • Extended staff time or time overage charges may apply if the delay exceeds the scheduled stop time.

 

Late Arrival for Guests

We kindly ask all guests to arrive on time. Late arrivals may miss part of the experience, as our events run on a fixed schedule.

  • To maintain the flow of activities, late guests will be accommodated as best as possible within the remaining scheduled time.

 

Time Overage Policy

  • Grace Period: We offer a complimentary 30-minute grace period beyond the scheduled end time of your session.

  • Additional Time Charges: After the 30-minute grace period, a charge of $75 per additional 30 minutes will be applied. Time is rounded to the nearest half-hour.

 

Why We Charge for Overage Time

  • Room Preparation: After each session, we need time to clean, reset, and sanitize the space for the next client or event.

  • Peak Time Management: Many events occur on our busiest days, so timely transitions ensure all clients can enjoy their full scheduled experience.

  • Staffing Costs: Extending your session requires our team to stay longer, often beyond their scheduled hours.

  • Closing Time Impacts: If your event runs close to or past our normal closing time, it delays staff from leaving on time.

 

Advance Notice Discount

If you anticipate needing extra time, it can be pre-purchased at a discounted rate of $50 per 30 minutes when arranged before your event date.

 

Party Cancellation Policy

We understand that life happens, and unexpected events such as emergencies, illness, or natural disasters can occasionally disrupt plans. While deposits are non-refundable, they may be applied as a credit for future use. We are committed to approaching these situations with flexibility and understanding when evaluating additional cancellation fees. Exceptions will be reviewed thoughtfully on a case-by-case basis. Thank you for your trust and cooperation.

 

Cancellations Less Than 5 Days Prior

Events canceled less than 5 days before the scheduled date will be responsible for $250 cancellation fee, automatically charged to the card on file.

 

No-Show Policy

If no one from your group arrives for your scheduled session, the same $250 fee will be charged.

 

Why We Charge a Cancellation Fee

  • Artist Availability: Once a party is booked, our makeup artists are blocked from accepting other clients during that time, which are often on our busiest days.

  • Lost Opportunities: Last-minute cancellations mean lost opportunities to fill the slot with other clients or events.

  • Preparation Costs: Significant time and effort go into preparing for your event, including product setups, staffing coordination, and customized planning.

 

How to Reschedule or Cancel

If you need to reschedule or cancel your event, please contact us as early as possible. Events canceled more than 5 days in advance OR due to emergency situations, can be rescheduled or refunded, minus the $250 deposit, which is non-refundable but can be applied toward a future event or as store credit.

 

These policies ensure that we can provide the best possible experience for every client while respecting the time and effort of our team. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
